Job Description and Requirements
Key responsibilities- • Contribute in achieving business objectives of the Department by carrying out servicing or repair jobs (FIRFT) as per Ford instructions within specified Standard Labour Time. • Adhere to ISO 9001 policies and procedures • Achieve the set labour targets • Collect the Job Card from the Planning Board in coordination with Supervisor. • Coordinate with Service Advisor through Supervisor if more information is required from the customer to understand the concern properly. • Seek assistance of Supervisor in case more expertise is required to do proper diagnosis. • Ensure to maximize the Utilization of duty time available. • Strive to attain Fix It Right First Time (FIRFT) in all jobs. • Properly utilize all the literature and tools as specified by Ford for the above. • Coordinate with Service Advisor through Supervisor to obtain approvals for such jobs. • Handover the vehicle to Supervisor in order to arrange for Quality Inspection, if required. • Properly fill up the checklist for the jobs done on the vehicle. • Undergo ongoing training sessions that would be organized by the organization and improve the skills and technical knowledge. • Achieve the Certification Goals as specified by the organization time to time. • Adhere to the safety measures as per the company guidelines   Essential: • Certificate course in Automobile Engineering with 2-3 years experience • Basic knowledge of the use of dangerous objects & job safety. • Basic knowledge of vehicle diagnosis. • Knowledge in proper use of tools and equipment including special tools. • Read and write English. • Knowledge of basic products (vehicles and services).
