Job Description and Requirements

Major Responsibilities

Information Management, Technical Quality, and Support


  • Work closely with ERD Program manager to develop the ERD Program management system and processes.
  • Write data flow diagram and activity map to include all possible scenarios
  • Develop Microsoft SQL database
  • Create and develop GUI interface for SQL DB using C#,
  • Work closely with ERD Program Manager to support the program to set its systems in line with IRC’s Monitoring for Action core standards related to information management and data quality.
  • Ensure all collected program data on the systems are protected, accessible, accurate, and reliable.
  • Support the ERD IM personnel to develop and analysis (quantitative and qualitative) tool for data collected by ERD Jordan field teams.
  • Develop web interface to cover all aspects with different level of access for all ERD users
  • Write full guidelines for ERD program management system to be developed







  • Approximately 2 of years work experience in database management and analysis,
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent (statistics, data analysis, data-driven computation etc.).
  • Proven experience with tools like Commcare, Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel.
  • Excellent visual design sense regarding clear and accurate presentation of data.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and travel as required to project field sites in Irbid, Mafraq, Ramtha and Azraq
  • Self-directed, able to independently set priorities and solve problems with minimal guidance; comfortable working with unit members who are travelling 50-70% of the time.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to successfully work in a fast-paced environment within and across departments/functions, and develop positive relationships with locally and remote based staff.
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic language skills.


Period of performance

The Information Consultant is expected to work on this project for the ERD Program starting from 10\4\2019 until 10\7\2019

Place of performance

Administrative work can be performed either in the IRC Jordan country office or remotely

Payment Terms

The information Consultant will be eligible for 30 JDs/work days with a maximum of 22 days/month, with a total payment of JOD 660/month as per attendance sheet

The consultant will work with ERD program manager and if necessary technical support to be received from IM manger MEAL Dept.
