Senior Human Resources Officer

Job Description and Requirements

 

Job Summary:

Handles the operations of the HR function in the company including but not limited to reviewing and developing all the required HR frameworks, managing employee relations and the grievance process, cooperating with directors and employees to assess the development needs of the company.

Accountabilities

  • Policies, Processes and Procedures: Participates in developing all relevant HR policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
  • Day to Day: Completes the day-to-day operations of the department to ensure that work processes are implemented
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborates with other departments in activities that require to ensure capturing accurate information and ensure overall alignment
  • Oversees that all employee related documents, files, and information are regularly reviewed, updated, and maintained to ensure having accurate employee-related data
  • Facilitates the performance management cycle and communicates regularly with the department directors to ensure accurate and on-time implementation of the elements of the performance cycle
  • Collaborates with directors to asses manpower needs/ develop a workforce plan and forecast employment needs to ensure facilitating the needs of the Factory
  • Handles CV short listing, candidate selections, interviews in coordination with concerned department directors to ensure proper selection and on onboarding for new Joiners based on conducted manpower plan
  • Prepares vacancy announcements and manages recruitment process to hire the right people in the time required
  • Collaborates with directors to assess capacity/training needs and participates in setting training budgets for every department
  • Contributes in developing the job descriptions in collaboration with department directors to ensure that jobs are well-defined, accountability based and well communicated to the job holders   
  • Monitors employees attendance and reports regularly, checks for trends and takes action when repetitive cases occur to ensure having adequate understanding of employee utilization
  • Addresses any employment relations issues, such as work complaints and harassment allegations in order to process employee grievances
  • Manages payroll processing in conformance to set policies and procedures and in conformance to the local labor laws in a timely manner
  • Conducts job analyses and evaluations in order to align with any changes in the organization structure changes or additions of new jobs
  • Ensures that employees abide to the set code of conduct and escalates/performs action in case of breaching in coordination with the directors of the department
  • Reviews and updates the reward framework to align with the changes in the inflation rate and to be competitive within the market

Education, Knowledge, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or any related field
  • Knowledge in Labor Laws
  • Knowledge in SS Law
  • Knowledge in Reward framework and salary administration
  • ERP Knowledge
  • FMCG/ Alcoholic Beverages Industry Knowledge

Experience

  • 4 – 6 years of relevant experience
