Sr. Government Relation Officer

Job Description and Requirements

Government Relations Officer Sr. is essential at this stage to support in establishing the company legal entity and registering our license with Ministry of Commerce as well as following with legal in Kuwait. The Candidate will handle all government documents related to employee residency and company registration. Will assist and follow up with KDIPA to register the legal entity.

  • Maintain records of Company licenses PRO Cards, employee residency and its expiry.
  • Organize Periodic renewal of licenses (Trade License, Civil Defense, etc„) and updates in all system.
  • Maintain username and password all Entities related to Government relations.
  • Maintain hard filing and soft filing based on Immigration and Labor Requirement.
  • Monitor Employees visa, labor, Emirates ID are renewed on time by closely working with department coordinators /supervisors /send notification in advance to employees /supervisors.
  • Represent the company at different locations such as Police stations, Airports, Hotels, Municipalities, etc
  • Preparation and submission of all immigration, labor related documents
  • Accompany the employees on exit and entry
  • Submission of CNIA documentation and collection of access cards when it is ready.
  • Make sure to get the renewal (visa, labor, Emirates ID, License ) on time without delay and get the system updated with renewed details .
  • Helps our Seniors in Immigration, Police stations, etc whenever it is necessary
  • Arrange for Medical tests and EID Biometrics
  • Documents attestation from Embassies I Consulates I Ministries and other Departments
  • Represent the company at different locations such as Police stations, Airports, Hotels, Municipalities, etc
  • Preparation of Arabic letters
  • To help execute all works related to Immigration, Ministry of Labour and various Departments (private and Governmental)
  • Represent company during Labor Inspection
  • Keep Update HR daily with all process updates
  • Maintain copies of receipts, follow up and get the process done (renewal, new visa etc )
  • Comply with company HSE and Quality Policies and Procedures
  • Have knowledge & enforce compliance of regulatory requirement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Manager.
  • Keep up to date with recommended practices and new changes; circulate the information applicable to the concerned party (HR, Management) and get the things done according to the law.

    Strong Knowledge of all Kuwait Labor law and Ministry of Commerce. Up to date Kuwait and government rules and regulations.
