Tire Recycle Plant Manager

Job Description and Requirements

• Manage site operations, in a safe, environmentally compliant, and effective manner, including: Tire Collections, Processing Operations, Maintenance, Inventory and Outbound Logistics.
• Plant workforce management & leadership - Ensures proper staffing levels, develops people, and focuses resources to attain key safety, financial, and operational goals & budget.
• Utilizes metrics and reports to identify trends, make course corrections to maximize production efficiency and profitability.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve site/plant performance.
• Proactively communicates with management about site performance and situations that may impact the achievement of budget or other operational priorities.
• Prepares and adheres to annual operating budget.
• Assist in customer service and sales support for sales or service issues.
• Fosters an environment of Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement. Ensures that standardized work practices are prepared & exercised daily, including Standard Operating Procedures, daily good housekeeping checklists, quality checks are completed to meet customer specifications, fire / safety and preventative maintenance work orders are 100% complete, on-time.

• Familiarity with Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) and local municipality regulations.

• High level of comfort on the plant floor.
• Ability to foster an environment of teamwork.

Skills & Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent combination.
• A minimum of 3 years relevant experience required in the field of tire recycling (preferred) or rubber industry in general.
• Knowledge of industry Saudi Arabia regulations and guidelines (Preferred).
• Fluent in English both writing and speaking (Essential). Arabic language is preferred.
